Hello, You are most welcome .. I'm glad I could help in some way, even if it's only a small bit of assistance, at least it's a start, and well, just having that provides some hope. There is help out there, but it's often hard to find and we really have to be persistent and jump thru hoops in order to get assistance. I know how very frustrating it can be, especially when a person and their circumstance has to fit neatly in a "box" in order to be provided anything, and well, we are human beings with many different needs and we don't normally fit perfectly in a little pre-determined box, whatever the situation. Even while we may not find a perfect answer right away, it's empowering to know what is available, that we are not alone ... we then don't feel so helpless, hopeless, lost and frozen in fear, at least this has been my experience. I certainly can relate to trying to survive off of SSDI, and while it's usually greater in value than SSI, it's still a struggle and a balancing act of sorts. Please feel free to message me anytime. I usually check my messages here once a day. May I ask, what is your disability and health problems? It's often very reassuring and validating to share your story with others in a similar pair of shoes, ... one can sympathize but never truly empathize unless they too have experienced a very similar struggle. Anyways, welcome to Aidpage and I do hope we get to chat again in the future. I also have a blog about chronic illness, if you haven't taken a look already ... you may find it to be very familiar :) ADVOCATING FOR HEALTH: The Many Faces of Health & Illness

Thanku for your info on theses site. It was a blessing to come across your page today..
I am currently beginning to start over in hope to have a second chance being 44yrs old, divorced, and disable. Its helps with me being on SSDI even though its lower then the normal amount. Its hard looking at the positive side when there is so many unopened doors around or not knowing which ones Id be eligible for but Im not giving up hope.
I will be passing the info to my daughter as well as encouraging her to join this site as well to see her options and get ideas to where to go for help she needs.

Thanks again
Hope your 4th of July is a happy one.
